"The Reluctant Dragon" is an children's story by Kenneth Grahame, originally published as a chapter in his book Dream is Grahame's most famous short story, arguably better known than Dream Days itself or the related The Golden Age. I think it may have been more unconventional when it was first published, but now it feels rather predictable and dated/5. The Dragon and The George, by Gordon R. Dickinson, is a hilarious tale of a man on a journey to save the girl.

Not at all cliché, the story is all fantasy that rubs against your funny bone and you can't help but laugh throughout the book.
